Dear bubbaworld ,

I was searching the web for info on mike dalais when I found your site . there are a few things that you don't know about him that might change your opinion of him . mike is guilty of doing drugs and pled guilty of molesting his stepdaughter , but always professed his innocence outside the court . he took a deal to avoid what he thought was going to be a long prison sentence .

what he did not know was that he probably would have been acquitted if he went ahead to trial . the judge knew this . so what you think was a bad deal , was probably the only way the judge had of making sure mike spent time in jail .

the girl he supposedly molested has changed her story so many times that it is hard to determine what the actual truth is . I am in no way blaming her . her two older brothers admitted to having sexual relations with her with consent . she has sent sexually explicit letters to boys she went to school with in Stilwell . while working at a local restaurant , she accused a male employee in his 20's of putting his arm around her and making a sexual comment . she later confessed that she had made the story up because she had a crush on this guy but he showed no interest in her which made her angry . she did not confess to this lie until she was confronted by her fellow employee's who knew the truth . she held on to that lie even though this guy (who was married with a new born child) was being threatened with losing his job and facing jail .

again , I am not sticking up for mike , but I do think these facts should be considered before passing judgment . I for one want all the facts about a case , not just rumors . everything I have stated can be proven . mike was a child once too . he was beaten and brutalized by a very foul man for many years . this is not an excuse for his behavior , but it is probably the reason . I don't believe that we should stop showing compassion to people who have been severely abused simply because they are no longer children . mike draleaus showed many wonderful qualities when he was younger . he just had the good in him beaten so deep that it will take a miracle ( which I am praying for ) to bring it back to the surface where all can see .

your home page states that " only with knowledge is it possible to better the lot of those blundering around in the dark , lost in ignorance , superstition and despair " if you truly believe this , then this e-mail has been of great help to you . you are no longer ignorant of the facts stated herein . you now have the knowledge to come to a better informed opinion . I hope this will be taken as it is meant , nothing more than a statement of facts that were not released earlier .
