Sounds idyllic, doesn't it?  Reality in Grady County is anything but idyllic.  The county and its largest town, Chickasha, are currently being rocked by a scandal of epic proportions.


     

The Grady County Gambling Raid - Part 1  involves some noteworthy members of the Elks Lodge of Chickasha, Oklahoma.  Indicted in the corruption scandal is Grady County Sheriff Kieran McMullen, his wife Chickasha Police Sergeant Helen McMullen, recently retired Chickasha police Lieutenant Jerry Don Tyler and Sheriff's Deputy Robert Clinton Cacy.

The Grady County Gambling Raid - Part 2  provides coverage of the latest indictments in this ever-widening scandal which has now ensnared a total of eight law enforcers.  We also offer some observations on the nasty fight going on between Grady County Sheriff Kieran McMullen and District Attorney Bret Burns.
